Longtime assistant Scott Monson has been named head football coach at Sherrard High School. The Sherrard School Board approved the hire Monday night. Monson is a social studies teacher at the school. The Unit 200 Board of Education also made two other hires last night–Jeffrey Shillinger as Matherville Intermediate Principal and Matthew Hutchins as Dean of Students at Sherrard High School.
