Mercer County (8-9) finished 3-1 at the Cliff Warkins Memorial Classic with a 55-49 win over Kewanee (8-7) Monday in Prophetstown.
The Golden Eagles led 16-10 at the end of the first quarter and didn’t trail the rest of the game.
Molly Hofmann scored a game-high 18 points in the win. Leah Collison added 14 and Shadia Williams had 13 for the Golden Eagles.
