It was another big year for the Mercer County Youth Livestock Auction.
The event, which was postponed on Friday due to inclement weather, brought in $68,875 for local exhibitors on Saturday night.
Auction organizer Mike Peterson says putting the event on is always rewarding.
The grand champion steer was shown by Jenna Brown, the grand champion pen of rabbits was shown by Kylah Adams, Logan Campbell showed the grand champion market barrow, the grand champion pen of chickens was shown by Bodie Salmon, the grand champion market lamb was shown by Jaxon Adams, and Lily Grabowski showed the grand champion market wether.
2025 was the 32nd year of the Mercer County Youth Livestock Auction. It has raised more than $1.2 million dollars since its inception.
