Mercer County and Orion both advanced to the semifinals of the ROWVA-Williamsfield/Ridgewood Tournament after winning their respective pools on Wednesday.
Mercer County (2-0) defeated West Central (0-2) 67-19. Shadia Williams poured in 20 points in the win. The Golden Eagles will play ROWVA-Williamsfield (2-0) on Friday.
Orion (2-0) scored at the buzzer to beat Rockridge (1-1) 28-26. The Chargers will play Knoxville (2-0) on Friday.
