A January 26 jury trial has been scheduled for a Sherrard man facing predatory criminal sexual assault of a child charges.
The date was set during an appearance by 59-year-old Arden Anderson in Mercer County Circuit Court last week. Anderson was arrested in September 2024 and charged with two Class X felony counts.
Anderson was denied pretrial release and remains in custody at the Mercer County Jail.
A final pre-trial conference for Anderson has been set for December 15.
