WRMJ spoke with Sherrard High School junior Carter Brown for the High School Sports Spotlight Thursday.
Last week, Brown (QB/DB) was named a 3A honorable mention all-state player by the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association (IHSFCA). He’s the first Sherrard football all-state honoree since 2009.
The Sherrard High School Sports Spotlight is presented by Blackhawk Bank and Trust, Zimmerman Honda and COUNTRY Financial representative John Waugh.
