Final IHSA Football AP Poll: Rockridge Closes Regular Season No. 1 In 2A

The Associated Press (AP) released its final IHSA football rankings of the 2025 season on Wednesday.

Rockridge (9-0) remained the No. 1-ranked team in 2A this week.

Newman (7-2) entered the 2A poll at No. 8 this week after being ranked No. 4 in 1A last week. Monmouth-Roseville (8-1) received votes in the 3A poll.

WRMJ will post the polls each week. WRMJ’s Ty Taylor is an AP voter. His ballot will accompany the AP poll throughout the year.

*The number in parentheses represents how many number-one overall votes a team received.
