Early Morning Fire Forces Family From Home Near New Boston Riverfront

An early morning fire forced a New Boston family from their home today. The blaze broke out around 4 a.m. at a residence near 1st and Main Street, just feet from the Mississippi River. Gene and Heather Puckett, along with their two school-aged children and family pets, were able to escape the burning home unharmed. The full extent of the damage has yet to be determined, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the Puckett family is safe. Community members are already expressing support as the family begins the process of recovery.
