Former Sherrard and Mercer County superintendent Alan Boucher selected as the new Rock Island-Milan interim superintendent. Bocher is currently serving as principal of Arrowhead Youth and Family Services. He will step into the Rock Island-Milan role starting in July. Boucher served as the Sherrard Community Unit School District superintendent from 2015 to 2022. Before that he served in the same capacity at Mercer County. He’ll fill the role for the first semester of the upcoming school year and another educator will take the position in the second semester.
