Aledo is launching a youth soccer program this fall.
Registration for the first year of the program is open until Aug. 17. Practices are scheduled to begin in late August, and games will start in September. There will be six weeks of games and six age divisions ranging from ages 3-14.
City of Aledo Parks and Recreation Superintendent Scott Earl says there’s been a lot of support to kickstart a youth soccer program.
Registration is available at the Mercer County Family YMCA in Aledo.
Earl says the games will be played at Northside Park.
