Local farmers invited to a Tri-County Workshop on conservation and farming later this month. The program is being organized by Soil and Water Conservation Districts in Mercer, Henry, and Rock Island County. The event is January 15 at the Oxford Legion in Alpha.
The keynote speaker is Dr. Sean Jenkins, and his presentation is “Why Implement Conservation Practices on Your Farm?”
The day will also include a Tri-County farmer panel.
