Mercer County Benefits From WIU Ag Teacher Placements; WIU Honored Nationally For Those Efforts

The WIU School of Agriculture earns national recognition. They received the 2021 Outstanding Postsecondary Ag Program Award from the National Association of Agricultural Educators. Among the efforts the WIU School of Ag was cited for was their student teacher placement initiative says director Andrew Baker.

Mercer County High School’s other new ag teacher is also a WIU School of Ag product—Mr. Brandon Livingston.
