The Mercer County Health Department now accepting appointments for the Pfizer COVID booster. They will typically give out the booster on Tuesdays going forward.
The guidelines on the booster are now out from the CDC says IDPH Director Dr. Ngozi Ezike.
Additionally, those ages 18 to 49 with an underlying medical condition may get the booster shot and those 18 to 64 working in jobs with a lot of exposure are advised to as well.

Again, vaccine brands cannot be mixed and matched. At this time, boosters of Moderna and Johnson & Johnson are not authorized.
