Mercer County dropped their first road test of the season at Elmwood-Brimfield 30-22 in Week 2 of the 2018 season. Evan Terrill scored two touchdowns, one rushing and one receiving, in a losing effort for the Golden Eagles. Orion thumped Sherrard 62-0 to improve to 2-0 on the season. Charger tight end Logan Lee had 4 catches for 81 yards and 3 touchdowns. Rockridge also was a winner in the second week of the year, as they topped Erie-Prophetstown 40-8.
