Another delay in the federal case against two men arrested on child porn charges in Mercer County. Attorneys for Aaron Beauchamp of Matherville and William Ashby of East Moline asked for the continuance today at U.S. District Court in Rock Island. A trial date is now scheduled for September 11th with a motion hearing set for June 28th. The two are charged federally with Sexual Exploitation of a Child—punishable by 15 to 30 years in prison upon conviction. The two were originally charged at the state level for incidents involving a 16-year-old juvenile in March of last year. Beauchamp and Ashby remain in U.S. Marshals Service Custody.
