The Sherrard Tigers captured the Three Rivers Athletic Conference west division volleyball championship downing Monmouth-Roseville in a three-game match Tuesday night. Sherrard’s last conference championship came in 2011. The Tigers won 25-22, 23-25, 25-23 to finish the conference at 11-1 and upped their overall record to 30-4. Rockridge finished second at 10-2. The Rockets won a non-conference match over United Township 25-16, 25-15. Monmouth-Roseville finished third at 9-3.
