Human skeletal remains found along the shores of the Mississippi River, west of Andalusia. The discovery was by hikers early Wednesday afternoon, according to a press release from the Rock Island County Sheriff’s Department.
The Rock Island County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division and the Illinois State Police Crime Scene Investigators are conducting the investigation. No other details are being released at this time.
