In an emergency meeting, the Rockridge School Board rescinds a mask optional policy heading into the New Year. The special session held Thursday night. Board members Frakes, Parchert, Bell, and Scharer voted to rescind. Board members Faith, Workman, and Marty abstained. On Monday, the board voted to adopt a mask optional policy by a 3-to-2 vote with Faith, Workman, and Marty supporting the move. Board members Bell and Scharer were not at that meeting. The emergency meeting to rescind the mask optional policy was scheduled Thursday afternoon.
