Rockridge beat Keawnee on the road 12-5 in a battle of softball teams atop each division of the Three Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC) on Friday.
Trailing 2-1 through three innings, the Rockets (15-3) scored four runs in the top of the fourth and plated three more in each of the fifth and sixth innings to pull away.
Taylor Hoggard hit a home run and drove in five runs in the win. Charley Perkins added three RBI for Rockridge.
Tatum Lowe picked up the win in the pitcher’s circle, allowing three runs (one earned) on two hits in six innings, while striking out eight batters.
Macee Pickering drove in two runs in the loss for Kewanee (11-5).
