New Boston Teen Pleads Guilty To Meth Charge, Faces Up To Five Years In Prison

A New Boston teen faces up to five years in prison when she is sentenced this spring on a methamphetamine charge. 19 year old Brittany Shoemaker entered an open plea to a Class 2 felony yesterday in Mercer County Circuit Court.  The charge was in connection with a December arrest. Her probation was also revoked in another meth case—stemming from a May arrest. Shoemaker remains in the Mercer County Jail with a sentencing hearing set for April 10th.
