As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Mercer County Health Department is hosting an event to encourage people to schedule a mammogram.
“Coffee with your Breast Friend” is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 27. To participate, call the Mercer County Health Department to sign up for an available 30-minute time slot with another person. After the appointment, you’ll receive a gift card for a free coffee from a local coffee shop, says the Mercer County Health Department’s Annette Doonan.
The mammograms take place in the radiology department at MercyOne Genesis Aledo.
