First Responders Appreciation, Criminal Justice Career Day is Oct. 28 at BHC

Celebrate first responders and learn about first responder careers Thursday, Oct. 28 at the First Responders Appreciation and Criminal Justice Career Day at Black Hawk College.

Participants can learn about career opportunities and job requirements during a panel discussion featuring local first responders (911, police, fire, EMS and more). The Black Hawk College First Responder Hero Award also will be presented.

The event will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the college’s Quad-Cities Campus, 6600 34th Ave., Moline. For those who prefer to attend virtually, a Zoom option will be available.
