The final week of the regular season is here in high school volleyball. In the Lincoln Trail Conference Monday night, Mercer County defeated Stark County in straight games, 25-9, 25-8; United beat Knoxville 21-25, 25-14, 25-16; Rowva-Williamsfield stopped A-town 25-11, 25-19; West Central beat Galva 25-20, 25-21; and Annawan nipped Wethersfield 27-15, 20-25, 27-25. League leading Princeville had the night off.
In Freshman-Sophomore football, Stark County beat Mercer County 26-14 and Rockridge stopped Kewanee 40-0.
