Mercer County could not hold on in the fourth quarter as they lost for the second straight night at the girls Lincoln Trail Conference Basketball Tournament. Sherrard also faltered down the stretch in their game with Monmouth-Roseville creating a three-way tie with the Tigers, Titans, and Rockridge Rockets atop the Three Rivers West division standings. Sherrard wrestling coach Jeff Garrett picked up his 300th dual meet victory.
