A recent Mercer County High School Hall of Fame inductee says he’s proud of the strong agriculture education roots in Mercer County. Chet Boruff says there are many career opportunities to take advantage of if you have a background in ag.
Boruff is a 1972 graduate of Westmer. He at one time served as Deputy Director for the Illinois Department of Agriculture and is currently the CEO of the Association of Seed Certifying Agencies.
