Aledo’s Monument Park getting some upgrades. The park includes a memorial honoring the 352 Mercer County soldiers killed during the Civil War says Aledo Economic Development Director Tarah Sipes.
The park was originally dedicated in 1868. It’s located just south of the former Mercer County Hospital.
