Erie-Prophetstown spoiled Homecoming for Orion as the Panthers beat the Chargers 49-14 Saturday afternoon. Orion took a 14-13 lead early in the third quarter. Erie-Prophetstown finished the game scoring 36 unanswered points.
Rockridge was unable to come away with a win on Homecoming as the Rockets fell to Monmouth-Roseville 18-15 Friday night. The Titans scored on back-to-back 99-yard drives in the first half. Rockridge quarterback Brayden Deem scored both touchdowns for the Rockets.
Sherrard is now 0-5 after a 12-6 Homecoming loss to Morrison Friday night. The Tigers led 6-0 at halftime. Morrison scored the game winning touchdown with 6:30 left in the fourth quarter.
Mercer County won their home opener Thursday night by a score of 62-22 against ROWVA-Williamsfiled Thursday night.
