Another local township has adopted a side-by-side or UTV ordinance. The vote was unanimous by Keithsburg Township says trustee Kevin Zander.
New Boston and Preemption Townships have also approved the side-by-side or UTV ordinance for Mercer County. Local businessman Mark Bieri has been asking townships in Mercer County to support the effort. The ordinance requires a sticker purchased through the county and a marked side-by-side route on township roads, including 35-mile-per-hour speed limit signage.
