Mercer County couldn’t overcome 34 turnovers and 38 free throw attempts by Illini West as they lost in girls basketball action Monday night. The Chargers went on a 15-0 run in the fourth quarter to pull away for the win. Rockridge and Sherrard also came up short losing to Alleman and Wethersfield.
