Annawan-Wethersfield won the Lincoln Trail Conference girls cross country meet on their home course of Kewanee Dunes while Mid-County edged Mercer County by four points to take the boys title on Thursday. The Titans Whitney Johnson was the top girls finisher while West Central’s Freeman Shoemaker won the boys race.
In volleyball, Riverdale beat Orion in three games to give the Chargers their first Three Rivers Athletic Conference loss. The Rams are now tied with Orion in the loss column. Rockridge beat Fulton in three games and they are now in third with two losses. Sherrard stopped Morrison 2-0 to keep the Fillies win less in conference play.
In soccer, Orion-Sherrard blanked Riverdale 6-0. Noah Secoor and Arden Clauss had two goals apiece.
