A large Christmas tree is up in downtown Aledo. It was placed near the former Fell service station on Tuesday and stands about 20 to 22 feet. The idea was brought up at an Aledo City Council meeting earlier this year says Mayor Chris Hagloch.
The tree comes from a Millersburg area farm. Aledo Holly Days take place next weekend.
