A local farmer continues to promote a program benefitting the needs of an area food bank. The 12th year of the “Bushels for Hunger” effort generated over $22,000, bringing the total to just over $277,000—all going to the River Bend Food Bank says Jeff Kirwan of New Windsor.
The check presentation was made Monday.
