WRMJ News Director Jim Taylor spoke with Mercer County High School student J.C. Austin this morning. The 17 year old from New Boston just won the state title in bareback riding at the Illinois High School Rodeo Association state finals in New Berlin. He’ll now compete at the National High School Rodeo Finals in Wyoming next month.
