Clinton, Illinois has begun marketing a soon-to-be-vacant Walmart store.
WRMJ News Director Jim Taylor spoke with Clinton, Illinois city administrator Tim Followell this morning. The town of 7,147 was notified on June 20th that their Walmart is closing on July 20th. The store opened in 1983. Followell details both the challenges of them coming to town and the challenges with them now leaving.
