* TIMING… LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON… CONTINUING THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON MONDAY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS… UP TO 1 INCH SATURDAY NIGHT.

* WINDS… WEST 15 TO 25 MPH SUNDAY AFTERNOON… BECOMING NORTHWEST AND INCREASING TO 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS AS HIGH AS 50 MPH SUNDAY NIGHT.

* VISIBILITIES… BELOW A QUARTER MILE AND NEAR ZERO AT TIMES IN OPEN AREAS SUNDAY NIGHT.

* TEMPERATURES… FALLING FROM THE TEENS SUNDAY NIGHT TO BETWEEN 5 BELOW AND 15 BELOW ZERO MONDAY.

* WIND CHILL READINGS… FROM 20 BELOW ZERO TO NEAR 35 BELOW ZERO SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY.

* IMPACTS… A COMBINATION OF STRONG WINDS OVER FRESH SNOW WILL CREATE WIDESPREAD BLOWING SNOW… AND DANGEROUSLY COLD WIND CHILLS. DANGEROUSLY COLD WIND CHILLS WILL LINGER THROUGH THE DAY MONDAY.

.TONIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING… ANOTHER WINTER STORM WILL BRING ACCUMULATING SNOW ACROSS EASTERN IOWA AND NORTHWEST ILLINOIS. SNOW WILL BEGIN AROUND MIDNIGHT WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER… AND AFTER MIDNIGHT ALONG AND EAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER.

A VERY STRONG ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL ARRIVE LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON… WITH WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH… GUSTING TO 45 MPH. THESE STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE WIDESPREAD BLOWING SNOW IN MANY LOCATIONS… POSSIBLY RESULTING IN WHITE OUT CONDITIONS THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING. SUNDAY NIGHT… WIND CHILLS WILL DROP TO BETWEEN 20 BELOW AND 40 BELOW ZERO AFTER MIDNIGHT. TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL BECOME DANGEROUS DUE LIFE THREATENING WIND CHILLS AND REDUCED VISIBILITY FROM BLOWING SNOW THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.
