Sherrard rallied for eight runs in the fourth inning to beat Mercer County 12-9 in high school baseball action Wednesday. The Tigers Bryce Davis had three hits and four Rbi to pace Sherrard. Gavin King had three hits and four Rbi for Mercer County. Elsewhere Orion beat Cuyahoga Valley Christian 5-3, Rowva-Williamsfield beat West Central 19-0, Princeville rolled Peoria Central 20-0 and Stark County edged Bureau Valley 10-4.
In softball Monmouth-Roseville held off United 8-7 and West Central blanked Rowva-Williamsfield 15-0.
In boys track it was Sherrard 100, Mercer County 86, Orion 44 and Ridgewood 35.
