Republican lawmakers in the Illinois House, including local State Rep. Dan Swanson are signing on to legislation opposing a graduated income tax in the state.
In his first budget address, new Governor J.B. Pritzker said, “a fair tax system will allow Illinois to eliminate the structural deficit that has plagued the state for nearly two decades”.
