Sherrard Superintendent Finalist Takes Job In Northern Illinois

One of the two finalists named for the Sherrard School District superintendent position has been hired at a Northern Illinois school. Stan Adcock will take over at the Paw Paw School District on July 1st. He is currently the superintendent at Brown County in Mount Sterling, Illinois. Adcock, along with Dr. Samuel Light, were named finalists for the Sherrard superintendent position last month. Light is the current superintendent at the Illini Bluffs School District in Glasford, Illinois. The Sherrard School Board is expected to name its new superintendent on February 19th. Retired Rockridge superintendent Dick Stoltz is serving as interim superintendent, replacing Becky Rodocker, who resigned December 31st.
