The Mercer County Jail is now housing inmates from Scott County.
Mercer County Sheriff Dusty Terrill says the jail is also housing prisoners from Cook County, Warren County and the U.S. Marshals Service.
Terrill says as of this week, there are four Warren County inmates; ten Cook County and 22 U.S. Marshals Services prisoners being housed at the Mercer County Jail.
