A very brief court appearance this morning for the man accused of beating up and robbing 83 year old Fred Rooth at his rural Joy farmhouse. 55 year old Brian Tully of Burlington had his pre-trial conference continued to October 2nd. He faces home invasion, residential burglary and aggravated battery charges stemming from the May attack on Rooth. Tully is also charged with crimes in Henderson and Warren Counties. He was arrested earlier this month and remains in the Mercer County Jail on $200,000 bond.
