It was a big day of high school softball and baseball action on Thursday. In Lincoln Trail Conference baseball, Mercer County avenged a loss to Galva on Tuesday and in the Three Rivers Rockridge made it a sweep over Sherrard. In softball, Galva pounded out a second win over Mercer County while Rockridge held on to beat Sherrard.
