The Rockridge Rockets parlayed two hits and three Moline errors for a 1-0 victory in high school softball Wednesday. The Rockets Maddie Bayne threw a six hit shutout to get the victory as the Rockets improved to 13-4 on the season. In other softball action Rock Island blanked Orion 8-0 and Brimfield-Elmwood stopped Annawan-Wethersfield 5-1.
In baseball, Geneseo topped Orion 3-2, Brimfield-Elmwood beat Annawan-Wethersfield 7-6 and Moline over Alleman 5-1.
