The Rockridge Rockets were held at bay for the first four innings of their regional softball game with Beardstown but then came on strong in the fifth and sixth innings en route to a 9-0 Farmington sectional win.The Rockets Grace Preston was dominate in the circle giving up just four hits, striking out 11 and walking none to pick up her 12th win. Rockridge will play the winner of tonight’s Brimfield-Elmwood vs. Illini West game Saturday at 11 am in a game you will be able to hear on WRMJ and wrmj.com.
