Locked in a defensive battle, longtime rivals Rockridge and Sherrard were tied at 15 at the half. Rockridge led by one after three quarters, and hit key free throws late to pull away for the nine-point victory despite shooting 1-10 from 3-point land. Gentry Whiteman led the Rockets with 25 points, while Clayton Corken paced the Tigers with 10. Meanwhile in Aledo, Mercer County trailed by five after the first and third quarters, but could not get any closer in notching their first LTC loss.
