Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies recover a stolen vehicle in Matherville. The car was parked along a roadway early this morning and had been reported stolen from Rock Island. Following an investigation, it was determined that a second vehicle had been stolen out of Matherville. The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department also received additional reports in the Matherville area of suspicious activity around vehicles.
