A southern Illinois man facing Class X and Class 1 felony meth charges in Mercer County made his appearance in Mercer County Circuit Court Monday. A pre-trial hearing was set for August 13th at 9:00 am for 35-year-old Justin Robert Jenz of Epworth. He was taken into custody in March. He is currently in the Mercer County Jail on $500,000 bond. Class X felonies are punishable by 6 to 30 years in prison upon conviction. Jentz also goes by the alias of Justin Robert Wright and Crain Wright.
