Mobile Food Pantry Serves 120 People; Provides Over 10,000 Pounds Of Food During Stop In Mercer County

Over 100 people served and over 10,000 pounds of food delivered—those are the results of a local Farm Bureau effort in one day.   The River Bend Foodbank’s Mobile Food Pantry set up shop in Aledo on Thursday to meet a need says Sharon Lingafelter with the Churches of Mercer County Food Pantry.

120 people served and 10,381 pounds of food provided on Thursday—all funded through a local Farm Bureau program called “Bushels for Hunger” says Mercer County Farm Bureau President Michael Zecher.

The Mobile Food Pantry was set up at the Community Bible Fellowship Church in Aledo.
