A Mercer County woman identified as the highway maintenance worker killed in an accident in Davenport earlier this week. 54 year old Jacklyn Ferguson of New Windsor died Monday night at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport after her pick-up truck was involved in a mishap with a semi in the eastbound lanes of I-80. According to Davenport police, she was doing maintenance work for Hawkeye Paving, where she was an employee. The driver of the semi suffered non-life threatening injuries.
