Mercer County well represented at the prestigious American Royal livestock show in Kansas City over the weekend. 2016 Mercer County High School grad Gage Hank won top individual honors in the junior college livestock judging contest. He is a sophomore at Lake Land College in Mattoon. Also, Aledo grad Jon DeClerck coached Texas Tech to the senior college division livestock judging team title at the American Royal.
