Today marks the first official day of high school boys and girls golf practice per the IHSA calendar. There will be a change impacting this year’s state tournament as a cut will be instituted following the first day, with the Top 8 teams and Top 24 individuals advancing to the second and final day of the tournament, according to IHSA executive director Craig Anderson.
